WELCOME TO DESIGN SPACE!

This course will engage students in the technical, aesthetic and promotional aspects of web page design. Students will engage in creating visually appealing, technically effective and interative web pages as they learn the languages and skills involved in developing effective web sites for themselves and others.

Students will begin the year learning the basics of the Internet, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and then move on to more in-depth studies of Web 2.0 technologies. By the latter half of the here the course will shift into a project based and more individualized program that will engage students in teams focusing on one design task.
